Unexpected Snow during Fireworks Night

November has only just begun and already parts of County Durham have experienced the first snow this winter. Bonfire night was set to be a blast, but instead, snowfall in the early hours of Tuesday morning left an icy chill in the air. Around two inches of snow fell in Teesdale, Weardale, and other areas, leaving houses and cars heavily blanketed.
